Preschool

Mason loved preschool.  It took him a few months to adjust but he got to the point where he was excited to check his calendar and go to school.  At the end of the year we got this great gift from Miss Linda, pictures from the year, as a reminder of all of the fun things Mace got to do:). A wiggly Mason at the end of school program.

No More Cast

Mason was excited to get his cast off until the procedure actually started!         He spent most of the day feeling strange about having his arm back but a week later, when the pool opened, he was one happy kid!

Easter

After our Disneyland Trip we flew home and had about 15 hours before we had to jump in the car and head to Stockton's tournament in Las Vegas.  That was just enough time to do some laundry and color eggs.      We drove to Vegas and were planning to drive home following our games on Saturday.  Mason broke his arm and we ended up spending hours getting that taken care of.  We made it back to St. George to spend the night with the Thompsons.  Easter morning we woke up and headed home.  We hunted for eggs later that day.     It was a crazy weekend after a crazy week and I missed the fact that we didn't go to church on Easter.  Hopefully, next Easter will be a little less eventful:)

The Beach

We have taken many trips to CA but we rarely spend time at the beach.  We are always anxious to get as much time in at Disney as we can.  Another big reason is Russell thinks CA beaches are way too cold.  I would say that is true but I remember being so excited to see the ocean the few times I got to in my childhood.  We had a little extra time after one of Doug's games so took a short trip to a beach that I don't even remember the name of. Stockton was excited to look for shells and run away from the waves. Mason was not excited about any of it.   He wanted to stay back and safely hold dad's hand.  Eventually, Stock convinced him to get a little closer and even though he never really warmed up to the idea, I did manage to get a few cute pics.

More of Disneyland

And the Disney trip continues... Toon Town The boys love Toon Town because there are places to explore and things to touch and climb on and lots of noises and colors.  I like all of those things too and just can't resist taking pictures in this part of the park! Hidden Mickeys Stockton had a ton of fun looking for Hidden Mickeys.  Who knew an 11-yr.-old kid would have so much fun on the carousel?  There is one certain horse we had to find and Stockton was delighted when he did! Other Stuff Some other candid shots... Lightening McQueen and Mater I somehow got suckered into buying cotton candy! The most adorable face ever on the most sickening ride ever!  Me and spinning do not get along. Stockton was a bit too old for Bug's Land but he found a way to pass the time while Mason rode the rides. Stockton knows where all the cameras are! I don't know how we have missed it but this was our first ti...
