June is the birthday month in our family. On the 21st (the first official day of summer and the longest day of the year) Stockton turned 11. I did not take a lot of pictures to commemorate this event. Between school getting out, birthdays, and two full schedules of summer ball my June ends up being kind of a blur. Here he is on Mason's birthday. It is still a cute picture of him even though it wasn't his special day.

We kept this year pretty low key. He decided to invite one friend to Classic Skating for the day. The problem was, that one friend couldn't go on his birthday so they went the following day. No worries, he could stay home and play his new XBOX 360 all day. One small problem, the one game he was able to get quit working. To make a long story short, the XBOX 360 that Stockton helped pay for had a rough first 2 weeks and after 2 ruined games and a lot of frustration we were able to take it back for a new system. Things have run smoothly since!
We did go to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner where Stockton and I shared the Romano Crusted Chicken with white sauce instead of marinara. I love that we have the same taste!
He enjoyed a cherry Sprite and his own slice of Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. The sundae pictured was just a birthday bonus!
Russell took Stock to a movie in the evening where he picked a candy treat, something very rare indeed! He spent the next night (game wasn't working the night of his birthday!) sleeping on the couch so he could play NBA2K11 all night long! The joyful age of 11!
Some of Stockton's favorites are...grilled cheese sandwiches, chocolate muffins, chocolate chip cookies, playing catch with a tennis ball and the side of the house, music, basketball, baseball, and Spongebob.
Some interesting tidbits:
*Stock is very talkative but even more so right at bedtime!
*We keep telling Stockton that he will be an American Idol someday. He LOVES to sing loud to the radio and likes lots of different kinds of music.
*Stock was one of only two 5th grade boys to earn the highest Presidential Fitness Award at school this last year and he earned the highest Math Olympiad score of all the 5th graders. He also got straight A's for the entire year and was one mark short of perfect citizenship. He really worked hard!
*Stockton still likes to play with action figures at church:). I tease him that we will have to put Ninjas on his wedding cake!
*He has WAY more talent than he gives himself credit for.
